I am an award-winning design and communications professional with over a decade of experience across a wide range of industries including higher education, financial services, cosmetics, consumer products, entertainment, and non-profit. People that I’ve worked with would describe me as a type-A creative that is strategic, organized, and detail-oriented.
I currently devote the majority of my working hours to UCLA’s Center for the Transformation of Schools, to whose mission I am wholeheartedly committed: to bring about systems change through Humanizing Research, Validating Practices, and Transformative Policies with key stakeholders to support equitable educational outcomes for historically underserved students.
I am passionate about sharing the power of creative expression and teaching about design thinking. I have led workshops in photography, design, and creativity for marginalized communities around the world, including former child brides in Bangladesh, Syrian refugees living in Lebanon, youth sex trafficking survivors in Mexico City, and rehabilitating youth and adults transitioning out of homelessness in Los Angeles.
I collect vintage film cameras, love working in my garden and practicing hot yoga, and spend my free time thrifting for mid-century homewares. I hold a BFA in Graphic Design from Northeastern University and a Photography certificate from the Los Angeles Center of Photography. I live in South Orange County with my husband, Wyatt, our newborn son Avery, and our rescue Yorki-poo, Wilbur.
